BLOCKr only stores what it needs to work. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.

BLOCKr is in its pilot. Our registered company details and contact address are still being finalised; the places they belong are marked on this page. Until then, schools can reach us through the person who set up their account.

1. The short version

School staff get a sign-in cookie so they stay signed in. Supporters who fund a block don’t need one. Nothing is used to follow you around the web, build a profile of you, or show you ads. We count campaign visits for schools anonymously, without cookies and without storing anything on your device.

2. What we store in your browser

All of these are essential for the site to work, so the law doesn’t require us to ask before using them. PayFast sets its own cookies on its payment pages; see PayFast’s policies for those.

3. What we don’t use

  • No advertising cookies or ad networks.
  • No third-party analytics or tracking scripts, such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel. Our own campaign statistics are anonymous and are explained in the Privacy notice.
  • No social-media widgets that track you.

If we ever want to use cookies or tracking beyond this, we’ll update this page and ask for your consent first.

4. Your choices

You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. If you delete the sign-in cookie, you’ll need to sign in again. More about how we handle personal information is in our Privacy notice.
